Victor VV-XVI Motor Questions

All. I acquired a nice Victrola 16. It came with a 3 spring motor board with a 2 spring motor rigged onto it. I currently have a 4 spring motor but the handle crank placement is an inch off where the escheuchen is on the body. If I found a 4 spring board for this phono would the crank escheuchen line up or would I run into the same issue? I know this phono came with a 4 spring motor. Thoughts? Thanks!!

What type is this? Is it the early one?

Hi my machine is around the middle of the pack / a bit later. Production started in 1906 and ended production in 1923. My machine dates to 1915. I know they had 3 spring motors then changed to 4 spring, just not sure when. I believe the escutcheon was moved with the different motors. I may have to just keep hunting down a 3 spring motor.
