FOR SALE: Victor Victrola Adam-Period-Offers?

This will make a worthy Winter project for someone. It is in tough shape but pretty much all there. I bought this around 15 years ago and paid $750 for it but any reasonable offer will own it. I had planned on restoring it to its former glory but realize I will probably never get to it as I have a mountain of other restorations ahead of me. It could be the only one left. Any body know of another? Anyone willing to take this one on? Tim Fizer do you visit this site and read the ads? This is a good one for you! Located in the Buffalo, NY area

Just click on the pictures and they will enlarge and automatically rotate to the correct orientation...

What is this machine? What is the significance of "Adam No.1"? Just curious about unusual machines.

Here's the Victor-Victrola page describing the Adam. There is also some discussion of these "period Victrolas" in Look for the Dog. These are rare machines.
