A friend of mine found one of these recently and asked if I knew anything about its age, value, etc. It is British made. Appears to have an electric motor from the switch in the photos. I did a quick search of the forum and didn't see a related topic. Know anything? My friend would enjoy the feedback.

Thanks!

Steve

Your friend's phonograph is a British-made Decca machine, made around 1952, likely along with the release of the 1952 movie starring Danny Kaye.
If you search "Decca Hans Christian Andersen Phonograph" on the web you'll see several images of this machine.

Thanks Bob. I will let him know. Curious that this phono ended up in Texas. Have a great Christmas!
