Didn't Edison made 3 versions of the Amberola VI, the (A)VI, (B)VI, and (C)VI ?? I may be wrong.

Yes, the BVI and CVI were based on the Fireside mechanism. Frow briefly mentions that there may have been a DVI as well made from parts left over after the 1913 plant fire.

The earlier VI was essentially the same as the Amberola V, but without the automatic stop.

The fire was actually in December 1914: the DVI was issued with the redesigned works also used in the Amberola 50/75.

The early V and VI had different motor designs I believe.

Yes, they did. Similar looking upper mechanisms, but different works.
