Sorry I posted in the wrong forum previously. I received a freshly cleaned motor for this model, and the gears are dry and require grease. Which type of grease should I use for this?

Just about any general purpose automotive grade of grease would be fine.

Red axle grease works for me, and sewing machine oil for the fine bearings.

I might need some nicer grease though.

If you restore like me, make sure your Amateur Insurance is up to date--if not, then enlighten me--I don't always end up with perfect machines...
