Reproducer is nice. Iām not going to lie, this blue is a whole lot better than green or shabby white.

This one might be a nice candidate to strip. The original finish may be quite nice under the paint.

Black would be the optimum color choice, that way you could always say it was "japanned" rather than the correct term "molested" (unless of course it's an Edison GEM, then baby blue is the best choice).

I always thought maroon was best; as Bugs Bunny would say: "what a maroon".

Upcycled implies it's been turned into something else entirely, not just a different colored something.
Why don't we all start painting our gold jewelry? The family silver. Paint the granite countertops, I say! Paint is such a more elegant finish than any of those boring natural materials.
