The early Model B machines used the banner decal until it was used up. Then the familiar Edison script decal was used until the end of production. This looks like a reproduction decal put on wrong.

With 1905 last pat date, it is earliest ca. No. 400.000 , the switch from Type A to B was at around 240.000. Banner decals ran out at about 347.000. My claim stands
