I purchased this unit but someone rigged it with one of those old tin burger King ashtray's,
I want to rebuild it but dont know what to use. Does anyone sell the tin or copper diaphragms?
If not then can I use a Mica?
I know I can but a replacement reproducer online but I want to repair this one.
Thanks all,
Kirk

What you'd want is something like this:
From --

I believe that one of the members of this forum had some for sale, awhile back, so you might want to post a wanted ad in the Yankee Trader forum.
You also might want to check with Great Lakes Phonographs --
http://www.victroladoctor.com/ -- to see if George has one in stock.

Now, why would you want to replace that diaphragm? So nicely crafted
