So I've been trying to save this machine for awhile and I cant seem to find doors for it (under $100 anyway). So I figured I would see if anyone else needs parts for their Victrola VV-100.

Everything is for sale or trade except the motor and reproducer.

If you got some proper plywood and some mahogany veneer, why couldn't you make some doors? It'd not be easy but it's saving a machine that right now isn't in a real good spot...

Granted, it's not worth a lot, or in very good shape, but it's good bones for a project if you really wanted to save something.

And you could always try George Vollema. He sold me a nice back panel for a victrola once and has a ton of machines which are pretty well junk anyway. Tell him you're fine with loose veneer--there are ways to fix that. Just a pair of mahogany doors ought to do you.

IMHO it'd be cool to see that thing saved instead of scrapped.

It looks like walnut on my monitor, actually. If it IS mahogany let me know what size the doors are as I have some laying around.

OK. No interest plus the comments made me change my mind. I will make the doors myself.
