May be wrong but I believe I saw this machine at Stantons a year or two ago. It was OK but the refinsh was obviou. Run your hand over the Peter B decal and you understand. Now, that said, it still is the real deal (if in fact it was that machine) so and interesting offering. I know the auction site is probably one of the new "way of the future" methods we will be buying (see Raphael comments in another Forum area) but deserves a look.

Etsy currently is delusional on pricing, selling manual typewriter keys to vapid housewives for jewelry and offering a fine selection of repainted "Victor Victorias" ready to store bourbon in y'all. Not sure about it being the "wave of the future."
Still, a mighty nice machine, and what's so terribly wrong with a refinished machine?
