In my opinion, the A/B 275 and SI-19 are among the best-looking Edison Disc Phonographs. Serial #69! That's an early (1915) one! The decals on the motor plate retain maroon backgrounds - a holdover from earlier models with maroon motor plates. Very nice...

Elegant as all get-out!
The "full inlay" is interesting, but a little too much for the design; while the ordinary S-19 is a little bland. This just hits the right balance.

This is a fine example of a real historic treasure. I am delighted that you added it to the Featured Phonograph section of the forum. I have referred to the section many times and found it perplexing that more treasures like yours are not included.

I've never seen a B-275, nice! Interesting to compare the small differences between this and my A-275, which has a higher serial number. I think it was George P. who mentioned they were interspersed with the A-250s. Mine has a maroon bedplate, wood grained horn and no volume control and no evidence it ever had one. It's currently the only DD machine I have out in my living space and after Steve Medved did his wonders with the reproducer, I play it almost daily. I love the looks of it and luckily, it had been very well cared for before it came my way.
Thanks for sharing!
