My mother bought this book for me, from the MME show, last April. For Christmas. It's from 1923, and explins how to get the most from your Victrola. It even covers, the various genere's of music. The last page, tells you, to use Tungs-Tone needles to protect your records. I have read some of it, and it is pretty good.

Were these books originally given away with machines along with the instruction book, or were they a separate purchase item?

They were supplied with each Victrola. That's right - every Victrola in your collection should have one!

LOL, well I'm glad I collect HMV then :)
I dont think they produced a book like this, or if they did I've never seen or heard of one.
It sounds like it may contain similar info to what HMV printed on some record covers, although perhaps the victor book was a little more indepth?
