Reviving a rare Victrola

I was fortunate enough to acquire a rare Victrola XX last year. Here are a few photos of the cleaning and polishing process. The finish and gold leaf are totally original.

Yes, the phonograph is totally complete and working.

That is a beautiful machine... I miss mine, as I sold it last year since I was out of room.

Truly a rare beauty and very desirable. I still can't get over my friend Roger Merenkov selling his XX at Donely's auction. If I owned one, it's likely that it would stay in my house until I died. There are a few other machines I covet as much, but like the XX, they don't come up for sale often. Congratulations for acquiring such a fine example.
