1920 Victrola XI in beautiful American Walnut. This phonograph has been completely cleaned and restored. The original finish is lightly crazed but the grain and color are still vibrant. It has been cleaned and waxed, the nickle plating has been polished and the reproducer rebuilt. The motor has been completely cleaned and re-greased, including both springs being removed from the barrel, cleaned and re-greased. The motor is quiet and strong. This phonograph plays as Victor intended it to play. It still even has its original key! Victrola XIs are rarely seen in walnut.

I like the size of the XI model. It is nice and small unlike the ungodly XIV or similar models.

"Ungodly" XIV---watch what you're knocking, friend! Some of us LIKE having a record compartment the size of Delaware and a motor that could easily propel a golf cart. I know I like mine, but it is indecently huge...I could have strapped Mom's car to the top of the XIV and driven home in the Victrola!

Here's proof that good things come in small packages. I've enjoyed this Victrola for many years. The Victrola decal under the lid indicate it was decorated after it left the Victor factory. I love it.

That's an oak L-door. It came from Victoria, BC on one of our very first vacations about 1977. I met fellow collector, Don Mayer, on that trip and we've been friends ever since. He gave me the lead and helped load it on the roof rack of our 1976 Honda Civic.
