I am restoring an Eldridge Johnson model C and have been offered an Eldridge Johnson Exhibition reproducer I wonder if this is correct? I thought the Concert or New Century were offered on this model.

I appreciate any insights about this. I have a Victor Long Throat that will work on this and if the Johnson Exhibition is deemed unsuitable, that is what I will use until the correct reproducer comes along.

I am looking forward to any counsel on this.

In my opinion, a Victor Concert would not normally be seen on an Eldridge Johnson machine. I think the Eldridge Johnson Concert would be correct for a Model C. But the New Century could also be considered an upgrade so to speak. New Century reproducers are more often seen on the Johnson Model M.

I welcome other opinions, but this is what I have always considered appropriate.
