This little phonograph was one of the smallest and cheapest(sold for 15 bucks in 1916)uprights ever made. It was made of metal and made to look like Mahogany. The problem here is that the description only says that it is "Inoperable, the crank is missing, and that the Turntable is Loose" !! What is not included in the description is that the Entire Motor is missing from this machine. A collector, contacted the seller when he noted from one of the photos that you cannot see the spindle, and the seller has confirmed that it HAS NO MOTOR. The description has not been changed, and it looks like whoever buys this is going to be in for an unpleasant surprise.

Thanks for the warning, no doubt finding a motor would be next to impossible?

The Sad thing is that the bid is now up to 144.50, bid by some poor sucker who is going by the description, which basically says the machine is complete with the only part missing, The Crank. The buyer is going to be in for a very unpleasant surprise.
