Thanks for posting. I picked up the same record. They are available from Charlie Hummel if anyone is interested. It sounds great, looks totally original, minus the plaster core, and as you say is made from the original mold.

My pleasure. My Amberola's reproducer was acting up (ended up having to file and reshape the tailweight due to potmetal swelling, and thus there are a few minor skips in the recording. I noticed that the resin they use gives off more white noise than the celluloid. Perhaps I am mistaken, or this particular cylinder has more white noise than normal, but I find it is louder than original BAs, but yet prone to more white noise (static). Anyone else observe something similiar?

I'm not sure that there's more white noise than the original. I think this mould would have originally been dubbed from a diamond disc. I also have the same original BA version and they sound pretty comparable. Unfortunately I'm not able to do a direct comparison now because the original is in Minnesota.
