Hi, all. I am new here and a proud owner of one of those not-so-popular "humpback" model Victrolas, the VV-300. I am not sure if the crank escutcheon is the correct one for my phonograph. Mine is almost completely circular and flat. Does anyone have any detail pictures of the correct escutcheon? I would appreciate it.

Here is my machine (the flash really brought out the woodgrain on the doors. It it no so pronounced in reality.)

Here's one from a VV-230. It's curvy, not humpy. Looks like nothing special so any gold one should work

schweg, thank you! That was exactly what I was looking for! It appears I need to hit eBay to search for the correct escutcheon.

Thanks for the link to the 300 manual, that was certainly very interesting to look through. Did all machines get such a handbook when new?

I believe that all Victrolas came with a small booklet

I would recommend going to Victrola Doctor [George Volema] for that escutcheon rather than eBay. He is the best supplier of Victrola parts like that, that I have dealt with. :) Bob Ault

Hi, Bob. Thank you for the referral. Does the Victrola Doctor have a website or does he post on this board?

George's website is http://www.victroladoctor.com/

Good guy to deal with, I had him repair a motor and soundbox for my unit and very easy to deal with and honest.
