Presenting the Twirl-A-Tune Phonograph.
All that I have found is that it was advertised between 1944 & 1948 and then nothing.
Attached is 1944 literature.
Mine has a simplified one-piece base and logo, a more decorative soundbox cover too.
Does anyone have one of these cuties?
I've only seen two others and they are the original style.
James.

Never seen one but I like it and I'd have room for one. Now I'm on a quest.

James,
Your Twirl-A-Tune can be found in a couple of great sources. Page 153 of Discovering Antique Phonographs by Timothy C. Fabrizio and George F. Paul. Also found on page 3-8 of Phonograph Dolls and Toys by Joan and Robin Rolfs. It required a steady hand to play at the proper speed, but kids would have fun playing the record at any speed.

Agreed!
In addition, the platter is very wobbly too, from heavy handed twirlers.
Thanks for the replies.
James.
