Reduce Reuse Recyle chez Edison 1908

Thought this would amuse you guys: it's a mouse chewed cylinder box which shows that Edison was pasting the new post-1908 box labels on the old " Gold Moulded " stock of boxes. The mouse that enjoyed this label also ate half the wax cylinder inside. I mean it's half gone! Good to The Last Note. I'm tempted to take the rest off: as you can see the under label looks as if I had just picked it up at the R S Williams Co. in 1907 ;)

Edison must have had huge stocks of his "gold moulded" box.
Every one of my yellow 4M recording blank boxes are paste-over labels using this box too.
