The crank for my L-door has a stuck up end. How can I get it to move freely? Already tried getting some oil in there and freezing it for about ½ hour.
Thanks, Greg

I have always had success with using penetrating oil. Set the handle vertical so that the penetrating oil can run down into the wooden handle. Then reverse and put penetrating oil into the opposite end of handle. Keep trying to turn the handle and slowly this will free up the handle. Keep adding penetrating oil until the handle is free. Rust will eventually flow out of the handle.

Thank you! I need to grab some penetrating oil then!

I would suggest working some graphite into it. Anything liquid could cause the wood to swell. It's possible the metal has rusted and might never turn freely.
