I’m still trying to clear out some projects I haven’t been able to get to... here’s a victrola VV-X, the uncommon early tabletop version in an even more uncommon original oak finish. The motor is running but could use a once over, the Exhibition reproducer is nice but could benefit from a rebuild. The case is solid but would shine with a decent cleaning and polishing. There are random patches of loose veneer, some on the lid, sides, back. Aside from the obviously incorrrct sound door knobs, this is an otherwise complete functioning example of a scarce early version victor. It’s located in southern NJ just outside Philadelphia. Wow, that looks great in the dark oak. Do you know what the finish is? Flemish Oak maybe?

Thanks Andreas. I thought Flemish or fumed... it's definitely not the standard golden, and it's completely original and uniform throughout the exterior and interior.
