It would help to have other pictures along with a link to this machine...

Looks concocted to me , the proportions of the base to the case are wrong and the horn is much too small for the machine

I was wondering that as well.... It looks like European parts so I wasnt sure.

To me this looks like a legitimate machine with a wrong size horn and a later soundbox. I had a very similar octagonal Parlophon Luxophon. It also had very odd proportions with a huge cabinet and a small 10” turntable, but was a genuine machine. This is a picture of identical machine to mine.

It most likely originally had this type of Parlophon soundbox.

The horn looks a repainted Pathé, but otherwise it looks genuine, a German or Swiss machine. A look at the motor can confirm if it is a Parlophone, they equipped their machines with their own motors, stamped with the Parlophone logo. A research in old catalogues may yield a positive identification.
