That's very interesting, and one page especially caught my attention, as my lineage has had 4 different "A. S. Pratt" namesakes. 3 ancestors, and 1 brother. I have not heard any tales of one of them being the "chief clerk" of the Edison Storage Battery Co., however.
Thanks for sharing this interesting Edison ephemera!
Best,
Fran
P.S.: It looks as if Charles was practising his trademark signature on one of the pages!

Fran,
That is an “E”, not an “S” in the signature. Yep - hard to tell.
I just queried the Rutgers University – The Edison Papers – website:
http://edison.rutgers.edu/list.htm
and performed a Search(docs)
Alfred “E” Pratt shows in the selection list and by selecting Correspondence, you can see the one letter, below, with signature.
Do you have an A. E. Pratt in your family tree? Perhaps you are due monies – or owe them.
In any event, he was blunt in his writing – “his fingers are starting to turn blue”.

Thanks Rod! Unfortunately, no "E" nor Alfred. The long lost family wealth has eluded me once again...
Best,
Fran
