I am selling a 36" Nipper. He has a paper label under one foot indicating he's an RCA dog. He is one of the plastic Nippers that was made from the molds of the last paper mâché Nippers. The plastic Nippers left the factory with features like the eyes, ears, etc. painted directly to the plastic. Unfortunately the plastic was not prepped for paint and the features are frequently gone. That was the case with this Nipper. This is what I did:

1- removed the remainder of the painted features
2- bought some spray that etched the plastic and prepared it for paint
3- pained Nipper in a creamy color
4-painted the features back on Nipper
5-sprayed the entire dog with a clear satin

I can't say Nipper was restored because they never left the factory like this. I did a similar Nipper for a Portland collector several years ago and he has had no issues with flaking paint. Please PM any questions or interest. Nipper is $400 delivered to Union or APS.
