Horn Identification

I Just picked up this horn. It has no decal. I was wondering if it may be an early Victor horn, or if it is a generic one. It has a screw-in type elbow. It measures 19 inches long, not including the elbow, and the bell measures 11 ⅜ inches in diameter. (It measures 21 inches long WITH the elbow screwed on - which is the length of an early Victor III horn).

Baumbach's book mentions a D and G Japanned steel horn with a 11 ⅜ diameter bell, but I am unsure of the length, and do not know which models these horns were originally sold with.

Thanks - Mike

It is a Victor Horn for a front mount machine. It can fit a few models from a Victor E and R which would require the longer metal support and travel arms. Fits directly to a P, M, maybe MS not sure if they had leather or threaded elbows in the day on the MS. It is likely been painted over the decal. John
