SOLD: 1912 Edison Opera Phonograph -$2400

Here is an Opera with a really crisp and barely faded original finish that runs very well. I carefully disassembled the mechanism, cleaned, polished and lubricated all gears and bearings, installed a new tension wire with the correct gauge wire, rebuilt reproducer with fresh gaskets, and timed the mechanism to 160 rpm. Price is $2400. Free delivery to Union.

Wow! Bargain. I should have waited until this showed up. Buy a horn from Peru and you have a beautiful machine

I heard a couple original horns and elbows sold at Stantons for about $1500.00 plus premium.

Weren't those Oak horns or did I really screw up and miss out getting the right horn!?
