I would like to buy a used knob of the type below so I can clean it the way I did the existing three knobs (i.e. with WD-40 and Scotch-Brite, which removes the dirt and tarnish and leaves a fine matte finish.) My thought was that if I bought a reproduction knob that it wouldn't look like these vintage knobs even after matting per above, but I could certainly be wrong.

Are you going to Union? Should be easy to find one there. Jerry B.

Jerry is referring the huge annual phonograph collector's show that takes place in Union, IL, each June. Here's a link to more info.
