Hello all. I am looking for approximate manufacture dates for a Pathé Actuelle Model H.

Early-1920’s, actually.

Surprised it wasn't earlier, since Pathé switched to lateral recording in 1919 or 1920 and wouldn't have had the need for a vertical reproducing machine. I've seen Brunswick Ultonas from the 1920s which deleted the Pathé option, since the vertical system had been abandoned (but kept Edison, since Edisons were still in production.)

When I got my Actuelle about five years ago, I came across something online somewhere that indicated Actuelles were produced between 1919 and 1924. I realize this isn't very helpful without a cite, and I've long since forgotten what the source was, but those are the dates I remember. Like others who are curious about these curious machines, I wish there was more information available about them, but there doesn't seem to be much.

Curious, yes! Lori and I have a couple of these amazing machines. We would love to know more about them. As has been pointed out already, there is not much on the internet about them. Cheers, Russie
