Any tricks of the trade for getting the turntable off a VV2-35 off?
Persuasion?
Screwed on? Lift off like a normal turntable?
Thanks in advance .

If you don't see a round flat-spring clip holding it in place, there might be a hole in the spindle, itself. In that case, insert a nail or whatever in the spindle, and holding the turntable, turn the spindle to unscrew.

I don't think the 2-35 had a locking screw under the turntable accessed with a very long screwdriver, as some of the mid to late 1930s (off brand) models I've come across did.

Hope this Helps***

I found a clip underneath the parapet on the turntable table!
Got it going, the Governor stopped chattering by lubricatong through the holes in the bed plate.
But, the speed is u steady, so I’m ready to take the bed plate out to the case, but one screw is not cooperating! Even bent a good screwdriver trying. Argh!
