It would have been introduced the summer of 1925, shortly before the trademark was applied for, according to -- http://capsnews.org/apn2007-6.htm

The trademark label reads "Polly Portable Phonograph Co., 353 Fifth Avenue, New York". The website of Mainspring Press says the company filed a trademark for the Polly brand on September 2nd, 1925, claiming use on phonographs and parts since the month before.
