SOLD: EDISON DD #52109 *VERY RARE* "VARSITY DRAG" - $349

Very rare Edison Diamond Disc #52109:
"THE VARSITY DRAG" Fox Trot by Ernie Golden and His Hotel McAlpin Orchestra
-AND-
"CLEMENTINE (FROM NEW ORLEANS" (Fox Trot With Vocals) by Golden Gate Orchestra
You'll likely search for many years (as I did) before finding a copy of this very rare Edison Diamond Disc.
I purchased this record from the late Larry Mason, owner of Toad Hall Books and Records in Rockford, IL more than 25 years ago. He told me at that time that it was the first he ever found and would likely be the ONLY copy of the record he would ever find again. I was happy to pay his price and I've never seen another copy of it.
The Varsity Drag side is in shiny excellent condition with a tiny harmless edge flake. This side can be heard on my MusicBoxBoy YouTube channel here:

The Clementine side is also shiny excellent. There are a couple of lightly stressed grooves that play through just fine on my modern turntable.
Both sides are OUTSTANDING with terrific arrangements.
