A while back there was a discussion on the Columbia first Flag electric. #378D?
Anyone have that information?
Thanks,
JAR

328D is the first electrically recorded Columbia to be released.

Vid shows a Viva-Tonal label but it probably began life as a Flag. Flags in their relatively short usage pre-date black or black Viva-Tonal labels.

Thanks to Wolfe for the link!
#326 D was the lowest-numbered electrically recorded Flag label record, also an Art Gillham record. My copy doesn't have the W, but it is electric.
I've yet to come across a copy of 378-D. Since it included a matrix from January 1925, my guess is that, like 377-D, it is acoustic.
