Unfortunately, I did not see it on any of the FB phono groups I'm in: what's the group name?

It is a furniture group. She wants to "Make it into something useful"
I told her I would share it and try to find a buyer.
If you want it I will get her info and PM it to you.

Nice credenza. Somebody save it!
What is it about the shabby chic repurposing women and those bird eggs/nests? There was a local shabby chic store here called “Embellished Nesting’s”. Yeah, with that apostrophe. Anyway, chalk paint and bird eggs go together, apparently. Beware!

As my friend Jerry Donnell would've said,"I think they use bird s**t in the paint!"

He would also have said"Shabby chic is just SHABBY!edisonplayer

I messaged her and she said she would consider my offer. I'd love the thing, everyone always raves about the sound quality and I'd love to get my hands on one.

Yes they sound amazing--I've often considered acquiring one myself--or an 8-9--but where I live it's slim pickings at best and I'd have to have it shipped which would cost more than the purchase price ugh.
Grab it before it gets covered in bird doo-doo!

Same here. I’ve always wanted an orthophonic machine like a Credenza or an 8-4 but I haven’t had any luck finding one locally. (Then again I’ve only been seriously into collecting these machines for 2 years so maybe I just need to be a little more patient. lol) Oh well, someday...

Oh my gosh! I can't imagine, an orthophonic Victrola being shabby s***ted. Can this really happen in this day and age? Here in Britain some people are rumoured to have converted their re-entrants into cocktail cabinets but that was something like 60 years ago...
