VERY hard to find 8-INCH etched label OPERAPHONE RECORD (circa 1915) featuring a (UGH!) misspelling of Arthur Collins last name as "COLLONS". {now...who spells Collins as Collons? Ohhhhhh boy...fire that guy.

}
OPERAPHONE RECORD #1004:
COMIC DUET "DOWN IN BOM BOMBAY" BY
"COLLONS AND HARLAN"
-AND-
MARCH LORRAINE "KING COTTON. SOUSA" TWO STEP AND ENCORE
Both sides play great. This is a vertically cut record. Light surface scratches and scuffs.
PM with interest.

Somebody who just had a Collonoscopy?
Sorry.
Not my area of collecting focus, but curious: is that a Pathé sapphire ball cut groove?

No, Operaphone verticals are steel needle records.

Extra-fine grooves which meant that their 8 inch size played about as long as a conventional 10 inch- but they generally have a thin sound and often wear poorly. This one looks much better than average.
