The Talking Machine Forum — For All Antique Phonographs & Recordings

Does anyone know what these parts go to? I am pretty sure these are all Columbia parts. That's an 8-petal nickel horn. It's the bracket I don't understand. I first thought it was cut down, but that is not the case. It seems to be complete and original. Any help would be appreciated.

That's interesting. I was thinking a back mount cylinder player. Never seen one in person, nor a Miraphone, nor a Reginaphone. Can't find a close-up shot of the horn bracket on those machines. But a Miraphone or a Reginaphone seems possible. If so, there's a machine out there missing a few parts.

I have a Reginaphone 143 with that style tonearm. Within the last few weeks their were two table top Reginaphones for sale on ebay without the phonograph parts. When I bought my Reginaphone a few years back it didn't have the parts or the turn table. I got lucky and a few months later the parts showed up on ebay. I also bought a reproduction table on ebay. Out of the phonographs I have, when people come over, the Reginaphone is the one they want to here.

I have two versions of the support base for that tonearm rattling around here someplace, if anyone is interested. It's the piece to which the backmount bolts and that then is bolted to the motorboard. Dimensions are slightly different between the two.
