Does anybody know where I can see an ad promoting the edison standard model f?

That's going to be a challenge. In 1912/13, Edison was pushing the Amberolas 1b and III, Triumphs with Music Master horns, the Opera, and the new Edison Disc Phonographs in its advertising. The Standard didn't seem to show up in ads of the time.

If I stumble across something, I'll post it here.

Here is a 1911 Edison advertisement for a Standard Phonograph with a Cygnet horn. Seeing as the Model-F was the first standard offered with a Cygnet horn I’m assuming this would be a Model-F advertisement. Unfortunately it does not say that. Here’s the link and a picture.

I'm not sure that's an F. The horn does not appear to be a Cygnet, but rather a 10-panel Standard MG, and there's a front mount crane supporting it -- at least that's what I think I'm seeing. Also, the carriage is a slant-front, and it looks like there might be an endgate on the machine, which -- if the ad came out in 1911 -- would make it a very late B, possibly one the company was trying to dump at a discount to clear out obsolete inventory.

Rich may be on the right track though - - it's more likely a retailer would feature a Standard F. As a matter of fact, now that I'm thinking Babson, I think I may have something...

OK, here are a couple clips from the November 1911 Antique Phonograph Monthly. The first is the pricing and the second the machine. The machine they refer to as the Standard Combination type with a Cygnet horn for $35.00 I assume would be the Model-F. Hope I got it right this time.

I checked my Babson file and found two similar ads from December 1912 which may depict the Standard F.
