Not as glamorous as a trip from Oregon to Union, not much scenery, and only 1 item to pursue ( and certainly not a great Victor V) but this past weekend I coaxed my daughter to accompany me on another phono boondoggle. I looked in all the normal references, but don’t see any reference to a Phonota anywhere. It was not too expensive, and since it was a fairly long drive and coming home empty handed would be no fun, I lugged it home to add to the clutter. It must have been treasured since there’s a tag that shows it was serviced in 1946,long after most crank phonographs were relegated to the junk pile. The phonograph is at one end, and the other end is a drawer with record storage hanging down from the drawer. Here is what it looks like—

Wow. I love it! If you don't mind me asking, how much did it set ya back? I would love to have one of these in my living room.

I found this online. I didn't see the small print on the decal in the phonograph horn until I posted it last night.

Peterson Art Furniture was established in Faribault, MN in 1905. Over the years, John Peterson acquired or established several other furniture companies, all of which were run out of Peterson Art Furniture. Peterson Art Furniture was home to the infamous "Daisy Line." Grandpa John also dabbled in phonographs and lamps.

So it's another one of many off brands that were put together by a furniture company.

Pretty cool - I've never seen one like that. Congratulations!
