Brunswick Model 101?

I'm pretty new to collecting records, especially of this vintage looking at an early 1920s Brunswick model 101 on craigslist, it's in decent shape and they say it works. I like the portability since I don't have a lot of space for a cabinet. Are these decent machines? I've also heard the reproducer may need to be rebuilt, how hard is it to do that myself? Thanks!
