I know who Lord Haw Haw was but who was Boo Hoo of Moscow?

It can't have been Stalin as the record refers to radio propaganda presenters speaking English.

The record was created in 1939 I believe.

Thank you for any information you can give.

Probably a creation of the Western Brothers whose Columbia labels, such as the one posted above, featured "the old school tie"...

I wonder if 'Boo Hoo of Moscow' was a real person though. Broadcasting at a time when Russia and UK were not allies ?

The link does state:

Maybe a made up character but if he was real who was he ? I suppose the original article by Jonah Barrington in the Daily Express which inspired the song might explain but I can't find that
