The lid to my cabinet as of recent cannot stay up on it's own. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
Thanks

I had a Cortez with that problem. I had to put in new springs.

I agree, a spring has probably broken, On the Brunswick prop, the spring is stretched when the lid is closed. There is an adjustment screw on each prop (it looks slightly different from the 2 at each end that hold the plate to the motor board) - you can try this first, it tightens the tension and can make it so strong the lid can pop up on it's own on smaller machines so be careful.

First, I tried brand new springs from a hardware store that I had to cut to size. They didn't work. Then a guy wrote me saying he had two Cortez springs that were from a parts machine. So I got them and they worked.
