Is just the back brass of a 4A reproducer?

From the appearance of this 4A, it looks like the front is made of pot metal. So it must be just the back is brass, right?

No. The Victrola No. 4 is made of brass, as are the Victrola No. 2 and the Exhibition.
The Victrola 4-A and the Exhibition-A
are made of pot metal.
The British used the 4 and 4a on many more models. They also made more variants of this design which include various combinations of brass and pot metal.
The reproduced which is pictured above is a gold painted example which would have originally been fitted to a VV 2-60 portable. These are quite late. Note the interesting diaphragm, which consists of an Exhibition mica disc cemented to a Duralumin ring to allow for improved edge compliance.
