The earliest needles, for Berliner phonographs, were significantly longer than those that were available for later machines. Early depictions of the Berliner in catalogs even show these longer needles. It is very unusual to find these needles today.
I was fortunate enough to find a very limited supply of these needles. In the picture below, I've shown one with one next to a later needle to show the length difference.
These long needles are sold for display, I would not use them to play your Berliner records. Modern, new needles are much better to play your Berliners than these early needles.
The price is $5.50 for three of the needles shipping in the USA is included. No PayPal, but checks are fine.
