SOLD: Rebuilt VIC III Phonograph w/Flower Horn - $1250
Posted: Tue Jul 31, 2018 3:44 pm
I recently acquired and rebuilt a very nice Victor VIC III phonograph with the #19 flower horn, the same one in this thread:

It is my intention to sell it so I thought I would offer it here first before posting to Ebay. Any interest?? Asking $1250.
I rebuilt the motor, rebuilt the reproducer, installed new real wool felt on the turntable, and installed new leather in the bullet brake. It is ready to entertain for another generation or so. The patents sticker on the bottom is dated (March?) 1, 1902, though it was likely made closer to 1909 with this motor and horn.
You can see and hear it play on YouTube here:

USPS shipping could be about $125 or so as I will need to ship in 2 separate packages. Or I can deliver within 200 miles of Castle Rock, WA (I-5 Exit 49) for a nominal fee for gas. Or, you can pick up for free.
