Odd that he got Nipper and the front part of the Gramophone right but blew it at the back. No reproducer?

I used to clip out any phonograph related "funny" that I would find in any newspaper or magazine. Unfortunately that file of paper was lost in my first basement flood. I am just not lucky with paper memorabilia. I just wanted to mention my all time favorite phonograph funny that I clipped years ago. It is a cartoon with an "ancient" looking older woman standing at the counter at "Radio Shack" with the clerk behind the desk yelling out to another clerk.."DO WE CARRY VICTROLA NEEDLES??!!!! I did have the one posted about the person needing a blacksmith not a repair shop also. Was hoping maybe someone would recognize the one I am speaking about and list it. Would love to print off a copy and frame it. Thanks! Mark

This is a fun thread. In the future we will be talking about the good ol' days there use to be real printed newspapers in circulation.

Old postcards are also a rich source of gramophone and phonograph humour :
