This item had been sold to someone in NJ, but the shipping just fell through so I am relisting it. These are super hard to find and will most likely sell very quickly as it did the first time.

In addition to the Reginaphone, Lionshead, which was a combination phonograph/music box, Columbia also made a Lionshead model which was a phonograph only. These are rare, and really gorgeous machines. This one is in excellent condition with original finish. Along with being a really unique and majestic machine, it sounds great. This machine is listed for pickup in Houston, Tx or buyer arranges/pays for, pickup and shipping.

According to the Baumbach book, $200 in 1909.

The first of the Victor-Columbia patent pools was in 1902, but there were several subsequent occasions when the companies cross-licensed each other for critical patents. It was cheaper than litigation. When Columbia introduced its line or rear-mount Disc Graphophones in the fall of 1905, they all had tapering tone arms.
