Am I missing something hear again or is it just another funny deal with a fake bid .

I don't think you are missing anything. You are probably right about the fake bid. But who knows?
It does appear to have the very rare glazed doughnut finish.

Why would you think it was a fake bid, rather than someone who just doesn't know what they're bidding on? It's a single bid, so if anything, they've just set themselves up for paying auction fees based on the sale. The bidder has a high feedback rating, so he's been doing it for some time.
I think sometimes we're too busy looking for the evil boogey men on ebay rather than realizing that sometimes there really are idiots out there that overpay for things (and I'm sure I'm not the only one who's overbid at times...although not this badly).
