I don't know which make of gramophone this is - it looks USA made maybe but the soundbox is made in Britain ?

I think it would be a shame if it was upcycled

Strangely the listing has no picture inside the lid, where a maker's transfer might be found. The cabinet looks like an early 1920's HMV or Victrola, but the machine has clearly been re-motored as there are two winding holes with no attempt made to conceal the original. I would leave this one well alone.
