Thanks Sonny, got your PM. Would you mind posting it on the board just for reference purposes?

They are cool, Shane. Sound isn't anything really special if you ask me, even once they're rebuilt. I have one, but I couldn't tell you the last time I ever played it!

I tend to agree. I have two of them (one in gold, one in nickle). Still need to rebuild them, but considering there is no isolator, and it doesn't look like there's much play in the needle bar, I can't imagine rebuilding will improve them too much...although one of these days I will get around to rebuilding mine...just for the sake of having them rebuilt.

But I had to have them, just for the sake of being able to say that I own them (I also have a couple of orthophonic reproducers, but have never owned, and probably never will own an orthophonic machine...but gosh darn it, I can say I own the reproducer!!)

When exactly was this reproducer offered? I'm sure it is an improvement over the original Concert, but it has no isolator(!) and the mass of its needle bar is obviously more than the Exhibition and Vic 2.

According to the Victor Data Book, it was introduced in 1912, and was offered as an option to the Exhibition, and discontinued with the introduction of the No 2 in 1917.

I had one of these a few years ago. Bought it off Ebay, eventually got around to rebuilding it, was unimpressed with the sound and sold it for $100.oo more than I paid.
