I'm super excited because I just bought my first external horned phonograph. It is a talk-o-phone. The only down side is it came with a HMV reproducer and a unoriginal horn that someone fit on with pvc pipe. Anyway, does anyone know anything about this horn?

What does the small end look like under that cylindrical bit?

By the bye, I am worried that if it has an HMV reproducer--and looks like the pictures in the Trader--that you might have just gottten a hold of a replica...

I'll look closer at it later, but at this point it looks as if it was made in India some time ago. :(

That looks a lot like a Columbia horn. A peek under the blue end piece would reveal if there are threads under there.

I'm actually returning everything I bought. So the tape has to stay on the horn. Thanks everyone for the input.

It’s a Columbia horn for smaller machines. I had the same horn with the same gold design on it.
